This has been announced this morning, will take place on November 7th for the WBA Heavyweight Championship of the World.

Will be interesting to see how Haye (6'3''):

will cope with Valuev (7'2''):

Obviously Haye will be the lighter (estimates suggest that by the time they step into the ring, Valuev will be EIGHT STONE heavier) and quicker, and we know he has explosive power, but how much power does it take to knock down/out someone that massive?

David Haye said he wants to fight one or both of the Klitchkos but as a world champion he will have more bargaining power to get the deal that best suits him.

Not going to be pretty, the bloke is huge and a beast. Not fancying Haye's chances. Shame the Klitchko fight didn't come off

I think Haye will have too much for this guy, haven't seen him fight but from what I've heard he ONLY has size, no boxing ability at all. Haye is a decent boxer for a heavyweight and I think that will be the deciding factor.

Where is the fight taking place, anybody know yet??

Venue has not been confirmed as of yet I don't think.

I reckon Haye will knock him out late on in the fight. He will then hopefully go on to fight Vitali next Summer (when Vitali is another year closer to retirement), then he can deal with Wladimir.

Hasn't been confirmed yet, but Germany seems to be favourite.

Valuev, for his size, is actually a decent boxer. Don't get me wrong, I'm not suggesting he's the second coming of Muhammad Ali or Sugar Ray, but he's got a bit beyond the plodding giant stereotype.

I'd go for a mid-rounds KO for Haye, he should be quick enough to avoid the majority of Valuev's shots and get in with counters of his own, then as Valuev starts to tire a bit, Hay can get in a bit more and unload the heavy artillery.

One of the problem is that it is debatable as to whether David Haye is a natural heavyweight or an overgrown Light Heavy. Going back some years those that moved up from light heavy to heavy didnt fair too well, boxers like Willie PASTRANO. This has become more obvious over recent years when heavy weights have been coming in at over 17st as opposed to the old days of 15st.

I think he's a natural heavyweight, if you look at his first professional fights he is noticeably smaller than he is now, but that was in his early twenties. Towards the end of his cruiserweight fights I think it became harder and harder to make the weight for him. He can obviously punch with the best of the heavies too. 1st round knockout in his first heavyweight fight (may have been against a nobody) but still an impressive entry.

Hayes my favourite boxer around at the moment, I can see his speed being too much for Valuev.
