I didn't until it came up in a pub quiz a fair few years back.

We didn't get it right and then felt very silly when the correct answer was revealed by the quiz host.

Houses of Parliament

The HP stands for Houses of Parliament, as depicted on the label, a name Garton gave his invention when he heard that it was seen in one of the House of Commons restaurants. The sauce itself was made from a blend of vinegar, fruit and spices.
