I think world leaders are aware that they need to give him a get out to save his ego. Any deal with the US, no matter how beneficial it is to the respective country, has to be done in such a way as to be able to be presented as a genius 4D-chess win to his cult.
Anyone with half a brain cell will be able to see that it’s a massive u-turn and that he’s a financially illiterate idiot who had no idea of the potential consequences of what he was getting in to.

Watching either CNN or MSNBC this morning - I can’t remember which now - they went over recent polls on Trump.
They were portraying it as bad news for him as he’s “under water” - more disapproving than approving - but still in excess of 40% of Americans think he is doing a good job.
His support is so entrenched, they just will never see what we see.
