With Easter games always getting great attendances in the lower leagues, and Eastbourne hosting Worthing, I was wondering how many we have for either side of Brighton on NSC and how many on here are planning on attending at Priory Lane (I will never call it the ReachTV stadium or whatever it's actually now called)? I got my ticket in advance and hope for a decent crowd, and an Eastbourne win!

Worthing
I'm a Worthing based Albion STH but go to the odd Worthing game here and there.

I bought a ticket this evening for Eastbourne on Good Friday. Will be the first time I've seen them play away.

Further to that, if anyone has a spare ticket/s for Worthing v Dorking on Easter Monday, let me know. They sold out before I realised they'd gone on sale

Lewes FC for me.

I like both teams and have seen Eastbourne more and maybe even slightly prefer them BUT Worthing are more cut out in terms of their development for the higher level and for that reason I hope they win and get automatic. Then would love to see Sports dominate the play offs

I reckon one of them will be in the football league within the next 10 years.

It will probably be Eastbourne Borough.

My favourite non league club is Clydebank (whose 25 match unbeaten run came to an end yesterday. Still 20 odd points clear at the top of The West of Scotland league.

Anyhoo, in answer to your question, Worthing (and as Bradley Walsh would say) all day long

But where's their support coming from ? Their owner had a rant about his perceived apathy of the town that revealed he hadn't read the room about how supporters evolve.

Newhaven FC
Easter Monday is the big proper derby away to Peacehaven & Telscombe. Peacehaven currently 8th in the table and 1 point more than Newhaven in 9th.

If I lived in Eastbourne i would rather watch Town than Boro, been to both grounds and much prefer The Saffrons.

See you in the Lowland league next year I guess. Good to see an old name on their way back up. In other news its a yes to Eastbourne v Worthing on Friday. However I can't see Truro dropping any more points this season now.

Neither here nor there
Got two tickets for Friday's game and will be cheering Borough. Used to go there a lot when my kids were tiny and before the Amex was built. Great to see them challenging for the fifth tier again.

As for league football ... I suspect that will be a bridge too far. The ground is a long way out of the centre of town, and local football in Eastbourne is a very divided affair, with Town and United both competing for supporters. Plus there has always been an awful lot of Eastbourners in BHA's support.

Having gone to school in Durrington and being taken to Wooside road before I was "knee high to a grasshopper" I will be supporting Worthing at Priory lane on Friday .
Happy though to see EB also promoted .

Some big names in that division (and that’s not referring to the B teams) Do you support a team in that division?

I'd like to see both promoted , but given the choice I think I'd go for Worthing based on the fact I was born in West Sussex (but have lived all my life in East).

This thread reminds me of the push and shove in the Goldstone North stand between Worthing boys and Eastbourners.

Could and should generate more interest and attendance than past Lewes v Eastbourne bank holiday matches.

Eastbourne manager said recently that owner wants to build a new stadium in Eastbourne. I will be there Good Friday cheering on 'The Sports'. Club are recommending people get tickets asap as expecting to sell out the 3650 capacity (rumours of 1,000 Worthing fans expected in that).
