Completely agree with the post about negativity at the moment.

I also remember similar negative comments when De Zerbi took over, as well as Baleba when he played for his first season.

The Terrace thread was one of the best examples as of late. People jumping on the bandwagon, just to have something to moan about, when in reality it’s been a positive addition.

People also surprised and moaning when we gave our biggest sponsor, American Express, the upstairs section of the Terrace (which is still free to access). Those people would also be complaining if Amex dropped us, due to no commercial return for them, and we had a foreign betting company on the front of our shirts.

I think it’s an age old problem for all football clubs with anonymous posting boards. There is no escaping it, so here I am, making an anonymous post complaining about the complaining - oh the irony!

One of the great things about football in this country is that it’s not ever just about the football.

Times are a bit shit atm. Football is supposed to be a release from that, but the last week has also been disappointing. Not surprised to see people placing all of their frustrations into the Albion.

Brighton fans are becoming so ungrateful. Most teams would kill to be in our position on and off the pitch yet we moan about everything.

I think a fair amount of tweets/posts are from new/foreign fans who have hopped onboard and think we should be winning the league but I even see older fans disgruntled. It’s very strange.

We have an amazing squad, stadium, local spirit (aitc), chairman, training ground, Some young lads trying to get atmosphere going in the north etc

We are all Brighton let’s get behind the club.

Yep, it’s definitely coming from the huge number of Japanese, African and 16 year old Brighton fans who are regular NSC members and not from our tiny minority of cynical, middle aged men.

The reason people are disappointed this season is probably because they have been more low points than high points.

We are all fully aware of the clubs infrastructure and no one expected us to the win the league.
