Over 2500 tickets up for grabs for a 3pm kick off on a Saturday.
10th in the Premier League with an outside chance of European qualification .
We usually have 2k no shows don't we? Perhaps, those no shows are just now making sure they put on the exchange to avoid getting a red mark next to their name.

Have just done a quick tally up and it is 2569. I must admit to being surprised that it is as high as that being as that represents 1 in 10 of season ticket holders listing their seats. Maybe some of them will still attend if their seats do not sell which, given the time considerations, must be very likely.

Why is it that when you list your ticket, they don’t always show as available to buy though? It’s like they put some up for sale but not others.
Was it a 1901 ticket? I know the club have harvested these in the past and sold them with/as part of hospitality packages. These would not appear on the exchange.

It was a surprisingly high number. Anyone getting their knickers in a twist about it will have a meltdown when they see the Liverpool numbers 🤣

Newcastle might be high too. A lack of appetite to watch a vastly expensive team with few injuries, up against our injury hit Albion.

Sorry, yes - but that is correct.

If the club haven't declared the game "Sold Out" then the sell-side of the exchange doesn't open.

You can put your ticket into the exchange at any time, however...

1) If the game is not "Sold Out", then no exchange tickets will be displayed for sale
2) if the game is "Sold Out", then the ticket should appear for sale immediately - mine always have
Must have been a glitch this week I couldn’t put the bin dippers game on the exchange until yesterday Not sure why ? Yet the Villa game I’m certain was much earlier

We do have a load of tinpot fans, we are certainly have nowhere near the same level of passion of say portsmouth, even though I can't stand them or the place. It's fkin embarrassing if you ask me, even though your not, even palace I dread to say. Queue the death threats

Sorry, that's another nuance - the club have to activate that bit too.

They wait until the fixture date and kickoff time are known, and so it some time after that.

They probably hadn't flicked the switch when you tried.

Go and support Portsmouth or Palace if it bothers you that much

Poor response from our so called fans, pretty pathetic.
Our fan base is very flakey. A couple of dodgy games and the demand significantly drops. I think the club might be starting to realise it isn’t quite as strong as they thought it was. I hope it doesn’t affect the Amex expansion plans. But it should put to bed the ‘can we extend the North Stand and make the Amex 40,000” stuff.

You have a/some 1901 tickets don't you?

I have a vague memory that @Goldstone1976 found his 1901 ticket didn't appear immediately when he listed it, and when he contacted the club they said something about holding it back in case they had a direct buyer interested, or something.

I may have made this all up, but the man himself will be able to confirm in due course...
Definitely something like that going on.
