I've put Mrs Earle's ticket on the exchange for West Ham. She probably won't go as flying on Sunday with me for hols. It probably won't sell either so she keeps her options open. But she'd rather list it and not get another sanction letter, than keep it and not go. An inintended consequence of the new policy. She'd rather not go to a game than get a sanction email for not listing it. Not everybody copes well with poorly worded, slightly disciplinary sounding emails.

Our fan base is very flakey. A couple of dodgy games and the demand significantly drops. I think the club might be starting to realise it isn’t quite as strong as they thought it was. I hope it doesn’t affect the Amex expansion plans. But it should put to bed the ‘can we extend the North Stand and make the Amex 40,000” stuff.

Yeah, the club definitely needs to be more considerate of fans who can’t go because - double-checks notes - they’re going on holiday the day after a match.

Not just a couple is it, I put on another thread I have taken the whole family to a number of games where it has been easy to get 4 tickets together if you are not members, Wolves, Forest etc and they haven’t seen a win yet.

Have just done a quick tally up and it is 2569. I must admit to being surprised that it is as high as that being as that represents 1 in 10 of season ticket holders listing their seats. Maybe some of them will still attend if their seats do not sell which, given the time considerations, must be very likely.
You have seen the shite Fabian serves up?

No, the club needs to be more considerate with the tone of it's email, or even if it should send it all for missing just one match. The holiday is relevant because Mrs Earle is OCD and needs to leave behind a perfect house. She also doesn't deal well with official emails. We're all different - not really something to mock. The main point was that she'd rather list a ticket and miss the match if uncertain she could go, than decide she couldn't leave the house for whatever reason and a get a formal email about it from the club.

Probably didn’t need to mention the reason, although I do understand that a lot of posters on here like to mention their holiday plans regardless of the topic

I’ve listed my seat for the last three home games. I couldn’t make Liverpool anyway but just can’t justify 12 hours driving for the football we are currently playing. Wolves will be my only remaining game this season.

2,550 seats available.

If recent games are anything to go by, this number will go up rather than down. It seems a lot of fans don't know they can put their ticket in before the sell-side opens up.
I guess a lot don’t bother until the last two days beforehand.

It makes some others feel better about themselves. Take no notice.

You could easily protect her from Mr Barber and co by switching her BHAFC emails to an account which you read/manage.

I would suggest she lists the ticket, and cancels the sale at last minute if she can go and it hasn’t sold (because it probably won’t). Drama over.

Enjoy your holiday.
