Mitoma available

“At his pre-match press conference on Friday, Fabian confirmed that Kaoru Mitoma will be available while Jan Paul van Hecke returns after suspension. He added there was a chance that Ferdi Kadioglu and James Milner could be available before the end of the season. "A few players [Igor, Tariq Lamptey, Joel Veltman] will be stepping up their rehab next week, so the message is positive," he said. "We are positive that they will be back with the squad so they can help us on the pitch."

It would be nice to see Milner get some minutes (maybe just a sub appearance) before he surely hangs up his boots at the end of the season. He is a good egg.

Yep and we could do with a bit of bread & butter maturity on the pitch to calm down the desperation to score at times (which ends in missing sitters or sending shots into orbit around the moon)

I'm probably in the minority here but I think, if fully injury-free, Milner would still be a great part of the squad next season. We know that he keeps himself in pretty good shape, so with a bit of luck he could still offer something. His experience alone would come in handy given there are so many newbies on the pitch.

I think he would have been incredibly useful alongside Baleba this season,.
Not so sure his experience will be quite as useful next season.

Still think we have missed him this season, without Pascal he is exactly what we needed in terms of experience and game management, not sure I’d keep him for next season.
