Always thought I could spot a fake shirt at 20 yards. Have seen a few with a piss-poor "American Express" typeface.

But today I noticed there's a truly awful batch of knock-off away shirts which is completely the wrong shade of yellow.

Thought they might be training shirts but, nope, they have the vertical stripes and white panels. They're just really bad fakes.

Can actually spot them from 100 yards or more! 😯

Haha yes the DH Gate special.

On the flip side, keep seeing a lot of people in a red Adidas Phoenix Brewery number which looks great, would love to know which moody site is selling them
They pop up on eBay from time to time

I bought a fake home shirt for £20 out of curiosity to put it along side a real one. At first sight I really don’t think you could tell the difference. Quality when you touch it was maybe questionable but not much in it at all.

Don't be so mean! Who cares if anyone's wearing a knock off or not, it's about showing allegiance. I'm somewhat disturbed by the new 'retro' shirt but I'm not going to take the p**s out of people buying one!
It wasn't that long ago we were being rinsed with Europa League shirts!!
Sites mentioned have been noted. 😁

Let’s be honest here, the Euro shirts were genuine Nike pieces of shit. Like f***ing tents.

This season I bought both the home and away genuine shirts, sizing was completely different. I gave one away, from this distance no point in sending it back due to postage costs. As PBOBE wants to charge me stupid money for Albion+ membership with no ticketing priority of even the lowest kind for when I visit, I say ‘f*** him’. I have now dipped my toe into the fake shirt market and Albion have lost my custom on that front. My fake yellow away will NEVER be called out here in Oz, (it really is fairly good seeing as it will be replaced in a year) and I never was a replica shirt wearer when in the UK, I wear them now as an alternative to the plethora of big six shirts that are seen and as a way to promote my team.

But the shirt snobs should carry on being fleeced by Nike as it helps pay for other benefits that I can enjoy once in a while. Watching a match after garnering a snide ticket, maybe using The Terrace bar next time I am over.

Oh well it won’t be long until the next shit home and away shirts are revealed, i’ll be pleased to see that kunt of an away shirt relegated to the third bith, that said we are due an away Red so it will be back for the away fixture against the FA cup winners game next season

The fakes? I assume they are fake because I've seen a few now and there's no way that many young people would be wearing what is presumably a shirt worth a few hundred quid if real. Will keep an eye out!
Yes, the fake ones , but they’re generally not cheap, seen them listed for £50+

Real ones are worth £1000+ btw

Absolutely no issues with buying fake shirts. Albion and Nike have shown on numerous occasions they will act in their own financial interest, I see no reason we as individuals shouldn't do the same.
This - it's a result of shirt producers and the clubs taking the piss on price. Just as long as people know they are buying a fake I see no problem with it.

The one I used was finball from Thailand.

I only bought it to see what all the fuss was about and it is a tad snug on xxl, it is great quality

One of these consumer sites had reported that they take the “ seconds” from Nike and other brands and resell them

Mine was £18 all in including postage and for the times I wear it is great value.
