Very difficult to compare eras but I think Lewis would have been too big, powerful and strong for Ali.
I doubt Ali would have been knocked out by Oliver Mcall and Hasim Rahman, though he revenged both defeats.

The boxing powers that be made sure that happened. Lennox Lewis may not have read the script.
Peak 80s Tyson v Lewis. What a fight that would have been.
I agree with you though. Lewis was the complete fighter. His two defeats were freak results when he took his eyes off the ball. It happens, him being a human and everything. Normal order was swiftly resumed.

Fury is massive for tonight's fight. It's a shame that, in order to win, he going to be heavily dependent on leaning on and using his weight as opposed to boxing skills. Just shows how desperate he is.

He would be a fool not to. It’s his one big advantage of Usyk.
Take Usyk on at clean boxing skills and you have zero chance.
Chisora briefly showed Usyk doesn’t like being roughed up by a bigger opponent.
Expect Fury to do similar - leaning, clinching, illegal punches on the break.
If it doesn’t work out, I wouldn’t rule out a fury disqualification for one thing or another.

But Bruno had both Tyson and Lewis rocked and never finished them, so where would you rank Frank against this lot?

If he does that, and I agree that he will, then it just makes me double down on wanting him to lose. Boxing is an art, one that he can excel at, but this would just be meathead tactics.

Competitive. I think Lennox would’ve picked off these guys in a way that Bruno couldn’t.
What a ridculous statement. Every big heavyweight has used that advantage in a tough fight. Is he supposed to just ignore hes bigger and fight the way Usyk would like him to?

For me this is a different fury no old man acting a clown , littlie words and beast mode , got fury in this
Boxing can be an art but for the most part it’s win by any means.
A dirty, scrappy fight where the rules are consistently pushed is Fury’s best chance.

If I was in there fighting for my career and ultimately my legacy against someone who had beaten me already, I’d use any advantage I could. Fury has a clear game plan for this fight based on his record weight.
