We can still finish in the top half of the top flight for only the third time in our history, and eighth - which would be our second-highest finish ever - is not impossible, however unlikely. So I have to feel positively about this season.

Mind you, I still look forward to every single Albion match I go to, even after 55 years of watching them. The West Ham game clashes with Mrs Not Andy Naylor's birthday, the daughter-in-law has arranged a big whole-day do and it's been made very clear to me that I have to be there and not at the Amex. It will be the most miserable few hours of my year so far, without doubt.
So you'll be at the game then...

Palace did the double over us, we got humiliated 7-0, and despite putting ourselves in a great position, we've all but blown our chance of Europa League.

It's not over til it's over, and historically it's still a good season - it just doesn't feel like it to me. Weird.

I recently booked a break with a flight which spans the West Ham game. I've got to be honest, I'm delighted I won't be subjected to it either in person or via a streaming service. It's got Everton, Palace or Ipswich at home written all over it.

I saw a table from last season 23/24 where we were 11th with 44 points, after 33 games. We won 11 drew 11 and lost 11 GD-2

At this moment, we are 10th on 48 points Won12 drew12 and lost 9 GD0

So, my conclusion is, we are doing better this season than last season.

I don't get to see enough games live to make too much of a comment. I will be there tomorrow and always, the excitement, hope and anticipation will be there.

The downside MAYBE, the performance, the result and the lack of passion may be up for debate. But, 'live' matches now I live so far away, are magical. I love it. Always have. Always will.

Can't be bothered to read the posts. I can't believe so many said no or meh, literally the 3rd or 4th most successful season in our history. I've watched decades of lower league dross and still enjoyed it. Have our fanbase really become that entitled.

All football supporters are miopic.
Have we played thrilling football? Definitely not. But it’s been a dull old season more broadly hasn’t it? Liverpool winning at a canter, promoted teams all relegated. Genuine lack of flare players.

I’ve not enjoyed this season as much as the last. It’s had its highlights (taking points off most of the teams above us) and lots of lowlights ( giving points away to most of the teams below us). On balance, any season where we take points off Chelsea, Spurs, Man City, Arsenal and Man U is one to enjoy and savour

Palace double over us is that the 1st time ever ?, total inability to beat struggling teams which has plagued us for years and a manager still in his 1st season, it's a meh for me as not getting excited over games like I used to

Yes, yes they have.
They'll be going on about how bad Bloom is running the club soon enough.

Sadly said no. enjoyment nowhere near as much as last few seasons. We have had some exciting Games, however not enough. The rescheduling of games to suit Sky etc really pisses off me/us.
Also the hassle with ticket sharing/ticket exchange and it seems the threat of ticket being taken back for non use (whether percieved or real) !!!

I guess you either didn’t read the question or didn’t understand it.

It’s not a poll on the Head Coach’s job or a statement that we should be beating teams like Brentford or speculation on Tony Bloom’s mood. It’s asking if you’ve enjoyed the season.

And if you have enjoyed spending a vast amount of money watching a wet behind the ears coach get a Premier League lesson and a £200 million transfer window morph into either “not ready” or “old and knackered” then I salute you :salute:

The super fan badge is in the post, signed by Paul Barber 👍
Yes. How dare the club spend that much money and bring new recruits in including a new manager and it not pay off instantly! It’s almost like the club have a long term strategy of developing young talent that involves… development…

Sport involves both winning and losing. You can’t have one without the other. If all you get out of supporting your football club is winning and success, then go support Man City.

Again, it’s not about winning and losing, but have you enjoyed the manner in which we’ve done both? It’s a pretty simple question. If you enjoyed this season that’s all you need to say.
