I love most spiders. They live with me in my home and they've never done me any harm so why should i kill them? My cat is fascinated by them. However if i saw one of those i'd get a shotgun and shoot the bastard.

Although not poisonous Huntsman are aggressive spiders. Also i remember the redback being a nasty one too.

I've never found Huntsman aggresive, in fact quite the opposite.

I catch them all the time and put them outside to run free.

The nasty aggressive ones are those white tailed spiders, evil fuckers.

I don't know if it's because i've grown up in Oz and i've seen alot of this stuff first hand.

But I don't find any of those spiders scary.

If i did happen to see any of them they'd either get squashed with the bottom of my shoe or i'd hit it with a stick.

The only thing that really scares the bejeebers out of me here is sharks and king brown snakes.

I think it was on QI last week, it was mentioned that most spider related deaths in Aus are caused not by the spider itself, but as a result of shitting your pants when you see one.

Example, you could be driving along a road and adjusting your rear-view mirror and a red back plops onto your lap. You are more likely to die by driving into a brick wall whilst crapping yourself about the spider, than you are by being bitten by the spider.
