This is all very sad. Caplin looked haunted in that photo. No excusing him but I think his mental health and judgement is shot now

The earlier incident was this. Remarkably it looks as though the police let him off it, a judgement that surely has to draw some scrutiny on Sussex police now in how they deal with people with very powerful friends in senior levels of politics/now government
