Looks a complete dud to me.
Just doesn’t look strong enough for the premier league for me, bit of a mincer in his running style, perhaps with a strong pre-season and some strength work he’ll turn out ok, just think we massively overpaid for him.
Reading the posts from today, that's not going against the grain at all!Going to go against the general grain here, but he’s not quite what I expected unfortunately. He created very little in his preferred position of number 10 today. He needs to up his levels; exceptional at Celtic is nothing in the Premier League as we’ve seen time after time.
Huge disagree, Ferdi “ow my toe is hurty, I’m going to sit in the physio’s room for 8 months” Kadıoğlu is way less impressive. He has been by far the most underwhelming of the summer signings.
Questionable but could I point out that Wieffer does much the same! Brighton and Hove Albion ' Ministry of Silly Runs '. At least Mark Gall had the excuse of having one leg considerably shorter than the other !…….are you allowed to use that phrase nowadays
Agree I can’t quite understand how a broken toe has transpired into a season-ending injury, but IMO he showed more in his brief stint of availability than MOR has across the entirely season.Huge disagree, Ferdi “ow my toe is hurty, I’m going to sit in the physio’s room for 8 months” Kadıoğlu is way less impressive.
Good post, kind of where I am.Not sure if he’s playing within himself due to the injuries with us so far? But agree, looks very lightweight currently. Out of possession game is really poor with opposition players ghosting past him too easily without a challenge.
Wasn’t particularly impressed with him on the ball either today (crosses hitting WH players, over hit corners). Maybe a bit harsh as there were some good bits - and I want him to come good like all our signings, but Rutter keeps him out the team all day long (and I reckon Buonanotte would add more based on his trajectory last season).
Good point re leadership, but out of possession I would argue he’s a bit naive in the positions he takes up, which actually have little impact on the opponents options.I often feel like I'm at different games. I thought he was good, not amazing but good. Also in pressing and tactics he seems to have some leadership skills about him which we've lacked
He's certainly got a bit of Jake forster caskey about him with the pointing. He points a lot, without doing much himself. Game largely passed him by yesterday from my viewpoint.
I agree and I hope he will be better next season. I think he is a very forward thinking player and takes excellent positions with good link-play.I often feel like I'm at different games.
