Spike Millagan spent years in and out of mental hospitals. Prehaps Kev is the same, comic genius but mental with it.

To mention Spike Milligan and Kev in the same sentence is comedy blasphemy of the most despicable kind! Spike was tortured by his massive intelect and imagination, something common with many comedy geniuses. Kev is just a lad with learning difficulties who feels the need to share his stream of semi-concious ramblings about his boring little life with us all. Anyone who thinks it's any more than that and that he's some kind of creation from a comic mastermind is giving him far too much credit.

I used to deliver to Spike's house. I never got to see the great man, but on one occasion when his housekeeper answered the door, I heard him shout " Is it a salesman", when she said no he shouted back "Well tell him to piss off anyway". I felt honoured.
