Good to see we’re still finding ways to moan and complain about our stadium and new facilities.
So you would like people spending approximately £6 on a pint of flat warm beer to stay quiet?

I have been in The Terrace for 2 beam back games and thought it’s great, sounds like it needs improvement on a match day though after reading this thread, as mentioned in a post above hopefully someone at the club reads threads like this.

Must be long term targeting a younger demographic. I first encountered the incredibly loud bars music thing on staff nights out in Brighton city centre in about 2010. Even younguns trying to talk to each other had to yell into lugholes.
Even when I was young, unnecessarily loud music in bars used to annoy me. People in bars like to chat, whatever their age, and although music adds ambience, it needs to be at a level that still enables conversation.

Hove actually
I too assume that the club are monitoring our feedback / moaning…..call it what you like. We did the terrace on the opening day and have since reverted to the North concourse. The music was hideous and way too loud. 20 minute wait for a pint of Harvey’s!!!! Some decent tunes piped would be better. As for being an Amex card holder to get upstairs that just smacks to me of elitism. I have had one since 1988 but just to get to the upstairs bar is not what I have a card for.

No comment on the music, can't say I really took much notice, I've been 4 times now I think and bar the app not liking my credit card on opening day haven't had any issue getting a drink so find these comments strange.

Would avoid the backpacks at all costs though, not even tried!

Bought one, it was almost completely flat……not much choice between that and the shitshow that’s getting served in the Terrace

Was getting bus back to lewes after the game Saturday, so I thought I would get a pint and watch the 1st half of the cup semi , so I grabbed a pint from one of the backpack boys never again like others pint was flat and warm but the bus que to lewes at around 6ish was nothing so good idea to ease congestion but definitely won’t get a drink from one of the backpackers again

That's easy to resolve, limit the backpacks to Harveys and make the kids queue up at the main bar for their fizzy drinks. Sorted

we've been for both beam backs, arriving around 30 mins before the kick off. No problem getting drinks on arrival , most we had to wait was a couple of minutes, didnt use the app though. Got 2 or3 beers at varying times during the matches again just one or two people in front.

No problem with over crowding, although busy there was room, and in the period before the match no issue with the loudness of the music , and was able to chat happily even without my hearing aids in!

Music likes are individual, the times Ive been there its been 80-90s stuff which I happen to like, but each to their own on that, club is never going to please everyone on that score

Prices are certainly no more expensive than most pubs, and even a little cheaper than some. Beer was cold and definitely not flat- even the pint I got after the west ham game from a guy with a back pack outside the building was cold, although unfortunatly he ran out after my pint and Mr Nickbrightn was left empty handed as the guy said he would be back but seemed to get waylaid on ghis way back!

All in all for a new venue , coping with massive crowds all at one go, I think they have done a great job, Is there things to do better, change? of course there are but thats the nature of this type of thing, each match will allow them to tweak things and learn. By next season they will have got into the swing of things, but it can not ever be perfect. In a setting with thousands of people all wanting serving at the same time there will always be queues, errors and things going wrong. I think its great so far

This.

And this:

I hope PBOBE or at least the Fan Forum are taking note.

The Terrace music does not have to sound like a beach party in Torremalinos nor does the voice over the PA announcing the team line ups have to sound like Bingo calling for the over 90s.

used a few times now and its decent IMO

Bit of a queue at times but nothing worse than the pubs round the station and the outside lager sellers solve this even post 2pm.

Certainly eliminated a couple of boring frustrating queues for trains for me

Think its a brilliant addition and I was one that thought it may be crap

The Terrace was great after Saturday's game due to a fabulous result, decent weather and being able to watch the footie even when standing outside. Just a shame about Villa!

However, WTF it the blaring pounding music all about? Was anyone seriously there for the music? I didn't see anyone ' busting some moves " :). All I saw was lots of people trying to chat with their mates and/or watching the screens. It just doesn't need it!
A hit with the Ibarbzia crowd no doubt

I suspect the (limited ticket sale ) beambacks are different from a home match day

First time I tried I gave up - queue for the ‘Amex Lounge’ was as long as the old Dicks Bar queue and downstairs was mobbed
Backpack beer outside was awful (they seem to hand-pump the gas in ?)
Second time was post-match - ok getting into the upstairs bit but service was chaos. Used the screen to order but no-one behind the bar was preparing the ordered drinks, so there was a group 5-6 deep at the counter waving their receipts and one (new, untrained) bar staff dealing with them
Went again this week pre-match, 10 min wait to get upstairs, decided against ordering on the screens, but took 15 mins to get served at the bar. No chance of a seat obviously. WSL concourse was lovely and quiet 45 mins before ko and got served quickly

Love the design, the UHD screens and the food is better than on the concourse but place urgently needs a couple of decent managers/supervisors to organise it better and imo they need to make it all first come/first served as allowing 4 guests with an Amex cardholder completely defeats the object of any ‘exclusivity’

Done a Frexit, now in London
I went on Saturday for the first time as the M25 didn't screw me so arrived at the Amex early.

Very impressive, I love the use of tech and all the big screens everywhere. I didn't use the servers outside as they only had fizzy pop on sale and headed upstairs as I'm an Amex holder, went to the bar to be served by a human and had a Harvey's in my hand in under 5 minutes of arrival.

The view from the balcony with the panoramic screens is great and I enjoyed the 'half time' quiz.

Shame football isn't a summer sport really as in the winter I can't see it having the same vibe but well done the club, a great venue.

Lots of constructive criticism on here, and much praise also. Hopefully the club are monitoring this invaluable customer feedback, sharing the praise with the staff and working on the constructive criticism
Barber is........as we write....preparing a statement .........................'comments I have read online about our magnificent new facility are simply not true' (obviously it'll be a lot longer than that, but that'll be the gist of it)

Better signage for the toilets probably.
