What a day that was, Tone buys a horse for 30 bob, chucks it in at the Cheltenham festival and of course it wins at 100-1, 28 excellent races of which i picked and backed just 2 winners, yet still up a bit on the week, think that's a first.
So after totting up and then re totting up it's pretty clear that Clive Walker is in fact either ridiculously good at sticking pins in things or knows his horses,whichever it is fair play a very comfortable winner over the 4 days,consistency the key.
Thanks for playing along hope it made the week a little more interesting, here's the final stunningly formatted spreadsheet thingy.

If only I’d backed them for real.

I used a tipster to make my selections. He bases his tips on value (where the odds are higher than the form etc) rather than actual chance. I suggest this years Cheltenham suited this method.

Pompey Stevo works for me and he has been going to Tenerife for Cheltenham for years, I know it’s been in the news a lot this year .. we worked together years ago, when I took him on 7 years ago the interview went - these are your hours, this is how much you get paid and don’t think you’re having Cheltenham off every year!

Anyway the whole crew out there do “the board” which is a cash competition just like this one - these scoring is 5points win 3 points second 1 point third and a bonus 10 points if the winner is 10/1 or bigger.

I sent him through all your selections Thursday evening and said where would you be on the board and he said ahead by 1 point. At the end of play on Friday, sure enough you would’ve won the (quite substantial)) pot
