Manchester-born brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher have broke their silence as they announced the extra shows on their Oasis reunion tour next year
"As for the well reported complaints many buyers had over the operation of Ticketmaster’s dynamic ticketing: it needs to be made clear that Oasis leave decisions on ticketing and pricing entirely to their promoters and management, and at no time had any awareness that dynamic pricing was going to be used.
"While prior meetings between promoters, Ticketmaster and the band’s management resulted in a positive ticket sale strategy, which would be a fair experience for fans, including dynamic ticketing to help keep general ticket prices down as well as reduce touting, the execution of the plan failed to meet expectations.
"All parties involved did their utmost to deliver the best possible fan experience, but due to the unprecedented demand this became impossible to achieve."

I assume they mean that by fleecing 10% of fans for £350 they can keep 90% of tickets at a, ahem, reasonable £150.

I can imagine them both seeing a headline figure, leaving the details to their lawyers, and signing some bit of paper shoved in front of them without giving the ticket sale much thought. Whether that really shows them in any better light is another matter.

Maybe it's firstly for those who didn't get the pre-sale code. I've had this before where I didn't get the pre-sale code in the first round of tickets, but subsequently was succesfull when further dates were added or tickets released.Baffled as to how that’s going to work. Update: It was actally 10-15% according to industry sources.
