Delighted with the Commanders pick of Josh Conerly. We have to face three very tough defences in our division and our o-line is now looking pretty stack. Tunsil and Conerly at tackle Coleman into Left Guard along with Biadisz at centre and I assume Wylie at RG with Cosmi poised to return, a weakness has become a strength and Jayden gets his protection.

Not a sexy pick, NFL.com didn't rate it but we need fortify against that Eagles D Line in particular it makes a lot of sense to me.

Slightly perplexed by the Bucs WR pick, whilst I appreciate adding to a stacked offence with WR's Evans/Godwin/McMillan we are in urgent need of an Edge and adding to a defence which proved us costly last year. Gotta feeling we're going to be 'top-heavy' again this season. But hey, high scoring games to look forward too I guess.

Incredibly happy with the Jeanty pick for the Raiders. Having to pinch myself that we've drafted two of the absolute monster offensive skill players in back-to-back drafts. Gives Chip Kelly a great weapon to work with for our revamped offence.

Would have also understood if we'd taken Membou to bolster the o-line, but glad we went with the pick that catered to my heart rather than head. Hope we address corner on Day 2 as it's still a glaring need, but also wouldn't be against us adding a receiver given after Bowers and Jakobi Meyers our WR room is pretty bare.

Seattle needs to address the OL, Seattle addresses the OL.

It’s not particularly sexy or exciting, but it’s what we needed to do, and Gray Zabel seems like a sound prospect.

A- grade for pick.
B grade for American ridiculousness of name. (He’s no Barkevious Mingo).

Speaking about American ridiculous names, nothing beats General Booty or Cash Cheeks. Parker Titsworth is a great name too, lol.

I understand why fans want to address other needs but from what I've read Egbuka was THE GUY at OSU. Not just a great player but everyone also talked about his personality and how smart he is. I've listened to a podcast before the draft and Ryan Day apparently said during Egbuka's freshman year he sees him as a future coach. So easy to see why some teams would fall in love with him. I wouldn't be surprised (nor mad) if Seattle would take him at #18 if Zabel would be gone.

Anyone got any views on Shadeur Sanders?

The big Round 1 story was the fact he didn’t get picked, despite all the hype.

Now Rounds 2 and 3 have passed, and he’s still sitting on the board. Seems nobody wants him, at all.

No dickheads policy not unique to The Albion ( if that's grammatically correct)

Incredibly arrogant - in the detrimental way, not in the way that pushes some sportsmen to greatness - not the talent that he (or his unbearable Dad, or the media hype machine at ESPN that are invested in his sucess) thinks he is at the next level when it comes to the modern NFL.

Decided he was too good to work out at the combine and by all accounts absolutely bombed in his interviews with teams both from a personality standpoint and the Xs and Os of going over plays. There's a reason since that week he's slipped down mock drafts.

Massive red flag for teams wanting a no dickheads policy. When you bring the sort of media circus Aaron Rodgers did to the Jets and you're a rookie, you can see why many GMs and HCs want none of that in their locker room.

For anyone with an Athletic sub, great write up from Jeff Howe about this: https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6311419/2025/04/26/why-shedeur-sanders-not-drafted-yet/

I’m surprised Sanders has not gone yet, 2nd or 3rd would have been ok for him. I think the interviews have hurt him badly. Quite simply he just does not have the talent to back up his ego and personality. The NFL is a serious business and the patience of executives and coaches is extremely thin and clearly they cannot be arsed with the drama.

Browns QB room - Deshaun Watson, Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett, Dillon Gabriel, Shedeur Sanders

:ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
Bizarre. Why take Gabriel in R3, and then ALSO Sanders in R5?

Was joking with a mate yesterday that the way Sanders was falling down the draft, the only team likely to sign him was the Browns.

I think the answer to that question is Deshaun Watson, Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett.
Given the Browns are the tire fire that just keep adding fuel to the flames, one of those feels like a front office pick, the other feels like one forced on them by the owner.

Jimmy Haslam doesnt get the benefit of the doubt on this one given his track record of being one of the worst owners in the league and being unable to stay out meddling in such decisions.
