I was really gutted at 2-1 and I could understand why people left. However, I am a fully signed up member to The Terrace, so stayed right to the end. It was great to celebrate with the players too. It was glorious at The Terrace, buzzing atmosphere.

I do hope Ronald didn’t leave before the end if he was there. Looking forward to his vid.

As I say I can’t blame anyone for wanting out. We were shit yesterday and the result papered over the cracks of yet another poor performance against a dreadful side.
The mind boggles how you can feel this way after that come back, and that goal.

It’s not a particularly good look when hundreds, if not thousands, of “supporters” are heading for the exits before the game has ended. Fans are the first to complain when players are not putting in a shift, it cuts both ways.
One group is massively overpaid to do a job, the other larger group pays for the privilege. It’s not the same

Mine is definitely boggling. Apart from down our left - Pervis/Simon - I thought yesterday was a decent performance. Ignoring their goals, I thought Ayari and Baleba were great. Dunk back to putting those blocks in. Solly getting some good minutes in - he was knackered end of the first half. M&M did well when they came on and Gruda got 2 assists coming on in the 82nd minute.

But yeah ... we were shit and it was a poor performance by the lads. I mean ... after going 2-1 down, they really could have just given up knowing that the fount of all knowledge, that is NSC, would tear them to pieces anyway.

That video of the guys celebrating outside the Terrace, all I'll say is, they all looked like they needed to use the Terrace toilets for a top up, more than they wanted to get to the bar.
Just watched the video….I see what you mean.

Cracking conversation with my neighbour this morning. He’s an old boy so I cut him a bit of slack when he said he missed the winner.
He told me:

“I left at 2-2 but when I got to the top of the stairs we had a corner, so I asked the steward if I could stand here and watch it, he said yes, when the corner was cleared someone else wanted to leave so I was told to clear the exit, I was only four steps down when I heard an almighty roar, if it hadn’t have been for that bloody bloke leaving I would have seen it!”

🤣🤣🤣

I stayed to the bitter end. Saw both goals. Had a lift home at 6 so no point me leaving early.

Don’t blame nor care that anyone left early around me. Excluding the woman and daughter who didn’t come back for the second half the 77th minute was the earliest people started leaving around me so they even missed the West Ham goal.

As I say I can’t blame anyone for wanting out. We were shit yesterday and the result papered over the cracks of yet another poor performance against a dreadful side.
Leave early - surprised you turned up! :lolol:

I'm wondering how your mind works if you leave early (early enough to be outside the terrace when we scored the third) then celebrate like we've just won the league (as captured by the interviewer). If you care that much, why the actual feck aren't you 100m away, inside the ground?
Very good point.

If you have somewhere else you genuinely need to get to, then fine, but leaving on 82 minutes just because your team goes a goal behind feels a bit entitled. Still plenty of time to equalise, and win, as there was.
