I’ve got one, had it for over 15 years, it’s a bha plate and been on 5 cars (so far). Bought my gf one as a Christmas present similar to mine just got E instead of S at the beginning. Neither were particularly expensive although mines been valued at much more than it cost

Where did you get it valued?

Years ago sent a text in to some radio show some expert said £1500 to £2k, ultimately like most things it’s only worth what someone’s prepared to pay for it

I've never bought one, specifically, but have had three that came with cars I have bought.

Not fussed about the first one, but the last two were on classic V10 Audi S8 money pits and started "S8" (wrote that car off") and "V10..." (not written it off, yet) so they work.

Hate is too strong a word, but I do think generally they're a bit naff and cheesy, and I don't really see the point personally.
