Prince William managed to get a ticket for the funeral, I notice.

Maybe he missed out on a Villa ticket for Wembley, so he decided to head to Rome instead.

In all seriousness, it's quite a sight.

I bet he's gutted with the clash of events. If I were him, I'd put my funeral ticket on the exchange.

As a Catholic, this week has been a mixture of emotions……genuine sadness, thanks for the life of a wonderful human being and pride at the way in which the Church has organised everything. The funeral has been beautiful so far, the music in particular.

Can't remember why I was in Rome recently, but did the tour of the Vatican. Just WOW.

This is The Pope. One of the most important figures in the world. I too am a little disappointed at the way this thread has gone. The Queen had similar coverage on foreign TV.

We were in France when the Queen died. One channel covered everything, from Balmoral, to her body, being moved to Edinburgh, laying in state at Westminster etc.
