Really saddened by this news, Tony and Rose were a genuinely lovely couple who despite living in Bridgend had season tickets at the Amex. RIP mate

It has recently been confirmed to us that Tony, aka hitony on here. has sadly recently passed away.

Although Tony was a less frequent poster on here, after he lost his beloved wife Rose not so long ago, he has been a near ever-present on NSC since the very early days.

For much of that time Tony has been a moderator, giving up his time to help keep this community ticking along, bringing great care and humour to the role.

I'll sorely miss having Tony about, both on here and in the top-secret mods group which we use to talk about you all. Nicely, of course.

RIP Tony - an absolute gentleman who gave so much to this site.

A familiar 'moniker', not a gent known to me personally, but, I am sure, like for all of us who have roamed these pages over recent decades, it hits home when a name leaves our (mostly) happy gang of keyboard warriors..... RIP

It is really sad to hear of Tony dying. I met him and Rose several times at away games. They were a lovely couple, and Tony, in particular, had been very kind to me on Nsc. He was a real gentleman with a great sense of humour.
