That's sad.

i only really remember him from the Doors movie and one of the Batman films.

And being married to Joanne Whalley.

Only remember him from the Batman movie.. not a very good one but not sure it had much to do with him.

Fascinating tribute to him on GMB.

He was so focused on playing Jim Morrison he sent Oliver Stone a near 8 minute video of him in character.

On his reputation for being difficult on set he replied “ I’m not difficult, I’m challenging, and some people in our business need to be challenged”

It is of its filmmaking time but is a great story set in a cool era in a cool place with cool actors. If the film gives you the itch, John Densmore’s book is worth a read.


Edit: I mean, what’s not to like?
