The delayed crowd reaction was quite funny.
Hopefully they will do the same against VICARio when we play Spurs. Two particularly stunning strikes in one match - ‘take me to church’ moments.
The impact a goal like that has on the dressing room must huge after the recent run we’ve had. Ayari’s too.

I think I would rather they get a few like that past POPE next week.Hopefully they will do the same against VICARio when we play Spurs.
Both goals came from moving the ball and opposition around so much that Ayari and Baleba had time to settle, eye the shot, hit it without pressure on them. In the PL that time and space doesn’t come from just whacking it.The celebrations were lovely. The team and manager need that big time and it was a great moment for everyone.
Now need to use this momentum in the last few games and iron out some issues in training. Simplify the game a bit IMO. With all the XG research and phases of play, overlapping blah blah, intensity this, counter press, "pivot"...ateotd we scored two good goals just whacking it. XG goes out the window there.
Also, at least 2 goals conceded in each of our last 6 matches. That needs sorting out, bc we can't rely on scoring three 30 yard screamers every game.
His tone was dismissive of our goals from outside the box in the post match interview. All goals count Graham and thunder bastards get the crowd going.Wasn’t it Potter who told us not to shout “SHOOOOT” when players got the ball about here?
Oh dear.
To be fair, we hadn't scored for 2,376 gamesWasn’t it Potter who told us not to shout “SHOOOOT” when players got the ball about here?

Presumably Knockaert at Palace ? , Izquierdo v West Ham the previous season was also up there. What was the 2018-19 long distance goal? Not Sidwell, that was in the Championship.
I totally agree. He's a mediocre footballer at best who (once or twice in a lifetime) is better than Caicedo and Ali Mac.Just to be clear for any other clubs watching this player it was a fluke, a big fat fluke. CB is very ordinary almost all of the time, honest.
Strangely, I seem to celebrate more wildly after we score a scrappy goal. Those 2 yesterday generated 'holy shit' moments in me.Two particularly stunning strikes in one match - ‘take me to church’ moments.
I'll let the club know to change the assist from Gruda to you.Baleba took the shot just as I was saying to mate next to me that it was going to be like Palace away and we’ll just fritter away the minutes passing around the edge of the box and I’d rather someone took a shot. (Because maybe we’d get a deflection or fumbled save.)
Probably not much more than 20.Presumably Knockaert at Palace ? , Izquierdo v West Ham the previous season was also up there.
