Between this season and last season he has had 70 shots and scored 8 goals.

I'm no mathematician but...
My bad, should have said "shots on target".

8 in 70 is still good by our standards though.

Hurzeler's tactics have ruined him. He looked a different player under RDZ. Matt O'Reilly would have thrived with Roberto's passing and possession football. When will we start do long throws in the box?

Unfortunately one of the main issues is that he was poor under the last 5-6 months under RDZ and has continued putting in usually "meh" performances. If it was just this season, its one thing, but some 18 months of generally not being good... Time is definitely running out if he wants to continue playing for us. He needs to show more than he did today.

I’m definitely not in the FH out camp, but our tactics have confused the hell out of me this season, can anyone explain what they are? It all seems very disorganised and chaotic (when we do ok) and very disorganised and slow (when we do badly). Any Tactics Timmy’s able to enlighten me?

Win the ball as high up as possible, even if it means four of players chasing the ball like U10s, and then abandon any sort of defensive shape out of possession.

I don’t want Fab out, but at times that’s what it looks like.

Defensive line high, to condense the game, which can’t work with our playing personnel.

He's just not good enough to be a consistent starter.

And thats in no relation to his perceived offensive abilities, its his lack of defensive ability, or simple effort without the ball.

Away at Villa this season, he scored a lovely opening goal, everyone remembers that much, but as we watched him first half in front of our fans on the wing, everytime the ball went past him or down that wing nearest us, they had a free pass down that side, he did at most a light jog backwards and never once broke a sweat or put in any effort to do the defensive stuff to win ball back, whereas both Minteh and Mitoma do bust their guts to win ball back.

Adingra simply isnt arsed to defend or break a sweat.

Yes, yes I do. No right foot and no end product . . . He can run fast though.
So you thought the guy on the right who had no end product but had two guilt edged chances produced less than the guy on the left that missed guilt edged chances and had no end product?

There is a lot going on. The computer phrase 'drag and drop' came to mind for me yesterday, and interesting how both Welbeck and Pedro effectively both play 9 and 10 rotating around each other, always looking to drag a player in for the ball in round the corner. It was great in the first half, worked on countless occasions, and only poor finishing / decision making.

Felt a bit attack minded heavy yesterday, which is fine if you're scoring goals, but felt Ayari holding on his own for much of it with MOR always a bit far forward for me as you say did appear to leave us short at the back - which would be fine it we didn't make so many unforced errors.

Dunno man. Unlike his attacking stats, his defensive ones compared to other PL wingers are pretty solid.

If you go to a game and watch him, you'll see I'm right.

He may win a tackle or 2 close to him, which is all those stats say but he won't run back or properly chase down someone on his wing, he'll jog behind them half arsed.

Whereas Minteh and Mitoma both do push themselves to chase down breaks on their respective wings.

You are right.

His tracking is better than last year, but not by much. The weakest of our wingers in terms of defensive effort.
