Then next to him (as per my second post it wasn’t outstretched) It was a lucky save, but a poor finish.

Edit - he hardly spread himself, unless your definition is different to mine.
OK, he did this thing where he leaned forward, knees bent with both arms a little away from his body and chest down and forward. A sort of crouch with both arms outside the silhouette of the body but not fully outstretched.

Yes, but the shot being next to him, enabled him to make the save.

A few years ago during the Lampard and Gerard England era it always annoyed the hell out of me when the manager would play both of them even if it meant one of them playing out of position. This has happened so many time when a player joins a club too. Its nothing new.
Players are bought by new clubs because of what they have done at a previous club in a certain position. I personally think FH is a little guilty of shoe horning at the moment... Matt O'Riley made his name at Celtic as a central midfielder and so lets play him there. Coming from deep is his thing and yet last night he was almost a second No 10. Adingra is a LW... Gruda and Minteh are right wingers. Lets please play these guys where they have made their name. If they are not quite up to securing that spot then let them fight for it. Lets please not shoe horn someone into a position they are not comfortable with just because they cost a few quid.
I believe all of our new signings have the ability to be top drawer in the position they have previously excelled in

How many shifts do our emergency services have in that time, earning millions of pounds less.........it's the footballers job !
Yes that’s exactly my point in response to a previous post banging on about rotation and resting players🤣

3 points between 5th and 12th not really a solid position
I get the OPs point
The OP’s thread title is embarrassing - and some of the comments attacking our manager on this thread are too as is your comment.

The table is tight as it usually is this stage of the season but calling our manager ‘embarrassing’ and wetting the bed because there’s only 3 points between 12th and 5th and we could slip from 5th position to mid table? Geez 🙄

O’Riley’s Celtic heat maps show that he often played advanced on the right and borne out by all video montages. His game; assists, crosses, goals, touches in the opposition box. In near identical positions to Rutter this season.

O’Riley at Celtc:

Have Rutter and O’Riley replaced Gross and Lallana?

Rutter, Minteh and Lamptey all playing right wing..

FAB OUT!

He's not stupid.. just stubborn and clueless..

We should of lost 5-1..

Playing 3 in defence and 1 midfielder.. laughable...
