No sign of our boy Tzimas. I'm guessing he hasn't recovered from his muscle injury yet.

I started watching with Nurnberg winning 0-3 after an hour played.
Now it's 78 mins gone and 3-3.
There's still 10 mins to play.

Perfect… hope he doesn’t knock Ferdi off the treatment table, exacerbating his ingrowing toenail, whilst simultaneously kicking Milner up the arse who grabs Igors ample thighs to break his fall, who then slips and decapitates Webster.

He’ll fit right in, if indeed he can fit into the treatment room.

He was at the training before the match.
They have kept it a mystery about his injury.
Rumours* among the fans is whether there is a "silent" agreement, to not play him even in minor injuries
and unless 110% fit (which makes sense since Brighton paid a lot of money and agreed to let him finish the season)
Until now he had never missed a match in his young career for any other reason apart from cold, flu etc.
Nürnberg has been horrible without him

*and various social media comments like : "Free Tzimas", "Let me guess he will be fit in exactly 4 weeks (when the League is over)" etc...

Not Tzimas related, but since we were discussing young greek players before.
Karetsas (17) just scored this for Genk :

I saw him play for Greece against Scotland in the last international break. He looked superb*. Sadly that means richer clubs than us- most likely you know who, considering his age- will be after him.

*albeit it was only Scotland

I was at that game yesterday and I was gutted that he didn't play. I spoke to some Nurnberg fans about him and interestingly they all thought he isn't premier league level yet. I guess we'll find out soon.

Cracking game, stadium and atmosphere by the way! Just waiting for my flight home now.

Remind me what Ajax fans said about Veltman

You were lucky that despite Tzimas absence the game was spectacular. Bundesliga 2 is as thrilling and unpredictable as it gets.

Him not being PL ready yet isn’t exactly a big deal. That’s how we unearth most of our players. He’ll more than likely go out on loan next season unless he shows he is ready in pre-season.

I guess we want 3, who specialise in and are ready to play in a centre forward position.

In that i'm discounting Facu, Rutter O'Riley etc who would normally feature in the deeper central position

So Welbeck. I guess we could say, Pedro and he is more likely to stay than go. Evan or Stefanos for the 3rd slot
