I’m not a fan. I liked it when they come out. And let’s face it it’s made zero difference to the atmosphere. It’s just got worse

If they have to stick with it though (and don’t believe that bull about the players wanting it) then please god can Richie ditch announcing it in that cringey way. Just play the damn song.

One thought I had last night based on the timings, I wonder how long it’ll be before a team works out that if they ditch the pre-match huddle and set up to kick off quickly they could get started long before we’ve finished the song?

I think it's the other way. Song gets started at, say, 2 minutes to official KO knowing it will cut out at KO. But teams are now delaying the KO with an extra long huddle thus the atmosphere has gone.
