Really?? Christ. Jewel? Turd more like. I support Surrey.
I was born in Surrey, thankfully escaped after 10 days. Apparently I had spent most of the time crying, being sick and shitting myself. No surprise really. I was so upset I didn't talk for two years.

They play in brown for a reason.

For years Somerset’s top order batting has been a joke. Last season we must have used 10 different opening partnerships in the champo. After all these years Dickson still averages about 20 for us. Let’s just hope for some lower order heroics as we often get!

Two matches in a row we have let the oppo get to about 100/1 before waking up.

2000 in at Hove yesterday. What a glorious day.

Some really positive changes around the ground and the new ‘sixes’ bar is fantastic (and free with a match day ticket) you get your chance to face the likes of Jofra Archer, which is interesting after a few beers!

Brave decision to get rid of Sodexo (please pay attention BHAFC) and the new caterer seems to have improved the food and drink offerings massively!

That explains Jon Filby mentioning the price of a bacon roll dropping to £3 from £5.50 this year (I think he said) when he gave a little speech at lunch before Adrian Harms at the museum's season opening at lunch. The bar certainly did look good from the outside.

Despite our bowling heroics, Still think there’s a big partnership in there for somerset somewhere. they have so many good batsmen

Totally agree, Somerset will post an innings lead by close of play today…
Hopefully our bowling continues to be better than theirs. They bowled 21 no balls!

I was born in Kent but bought up in Surrey and supported Surrey until they basically became the Man U of cricket and the cocked up city boys started using it as a after work drinking club.

So about 15 years ago started watching Sussex and now would count myself as a supporter. ( can’t get my head around football supporters changing clubs though )

Lammonby has been such a massive let down. In the Covid year he was unbelievable but has been awful since. We have never got close to replacing tres and Hildreth!

What's the lead required to enforce a follow on? 150?

Although I realise it doesn't seem to be the fashion to do that these days.

Edit: they seem to be scoring pretty freely this morning - 10 off the last over, and 8 so far (5 balls in) in this.
