SHOREHAM BY SEA
No, just entirely irrelevant and nothing anyone gives a shit about ever, except when its time for right wing people to ride in on their white horse to defend the multinational, monopoly-building corporations that refuse workers rights and fair wages. Given how people and societies function, its pretty clear no ones gives a damn what working conditions in China... except for when its time for political/class tribalism.

Are we going celebrate and buy Tesla cars made by underpaid, rightless European workers to save Chinese people from being underpaid and without rights? Why are the Chinese slaves/serfs more important to him than the Western ones?
Thanks for the interesting reply 👍

Trump will declare Marshall law and let the army loose on the "woke" and "left" at some point probably. Then stretch it out and use it as a reason for no election
This guy?

The big unknown is whether Trump and Musk will be able to successfully weaponise the protests. "Look at these unpatriotic, woke vandals, trying to destroy a great American success story. This is the enemy we need to fight against"-sort of thing. You could see it quickly turning violent with armed vigilantes in MAGA caps protecting Tesla dealerships against equally tooled-up guerilla eco-warriors. Could even be the start of the new civil war that many have predicted, and that some think Trump wants as it would allow him to declare a state of emergency and cancel future elections. Yes, that’s a bit over-dramatic perhaps but nothing, absolutely nothing, would surprise me about Trump and Musk.
trump did say the protests were from 'a small group of people' when Musk turned the whitehouse into a Tesla showroom

They asked for it.......

This. I’ve had mine five years and well before Musk nailed his flag to the MAGA cause. I have no intention of selling it either as it costs me around £30 for my 600 mile round trip to the Amex.
Still after he called the cave diver a paedo though.

I keep seeing people (including on this thread) saying Musk is a genius. Genuine question here as perhaps I don't know enough about him, but is he really a genius? As far as I know he just buys companies using inherited wealth and then claims credit for their success.
A genius at making money perhaps.
Shortly after his twitter acquisition there was a tweet along the lines of.
People said Elon was a genius for his electric cars. I know nothing about electric cars so I believed them.
People said Elon was a genius for his space rockets. I know nothing about space rockets so I believed them.
Now people are saying Elon is a genius at coding applied to social media. I know more about coding social media than anything else and I can confidently state he's a f***ing idiot.

I think you'll find that the EV market growth is down to Trump and the Tesla sales plummet is Joe Biden's fault.

Are we allowed to shout "wa*ker" with gay abandon at any Tesla driver we see?

Yes

What have WE done? Like a number of Tesla owners, we bought well before it was clear that Musk was such an arse, and hope people can realise that normal owners of them don't agree at all with the behaviour and politics of the bloke who bought his way into ownership of the make.

Yeah we know, but still.
