Today's loanee activity:

Calde starts at The Gas!
(we are considering him as just on loan until he returns to manage us, aren't we?)
:lolol: :thumbsup:

In other news - in the Premier League:
Buonanotte (Leicester at home to Citeh) - starts. RVN has learnt his lesson, maybe!

Championship:
Beadle (Massive away to PNE) - started in 12.30 ko; Don't fret, Beadle's int' net, as they say oop north - but a 3-1 defeat today;
ACD (Blackburn at home to Hull) - starts, following his appearance from the bench last time out;
O'Mahony (Portsmuff away to Brizzle City) - still injured, AFAIK;
Moran (Stoke at home to Sunderland) - starts;
Sarmiento (Burnley away to Middlesbrough) - evening k.o.

League 1:
Doyle (Exeter at home to Crawley) - starts;
Offiah (Blackpool away to Birmingham - Leonard back on the bench for them) - starts;
Chouchane (Northampton away to Shrewsbury) - starts.

League 2:
Luca Barrington (Grimsby at home to Benicio Baker-Boaitey) - bench;

Benicio Baker-Boaitey (Port Vale away to Luca Barrington) - not in squad;
McGill (MK Dons home to Crewe) - starts.

Muric much criticised at Ipswich, I wonder if they might revisit Rushworth as a six month loan option then.
Ipswich have got Walton, if they're unhappy with Muric (or - genuine question - is Walton injured, anybody know?). Leicester desperate for a GK - wonder if they'd want to give up Buonanotte to get him in though, that's another matter. Plenty of other clubs would like him, I'm sure - also wonder if James Beadle might jump up a division in January, like he did last year. Kinda hope he finishes the season at Massive though - he's starting to get Ben White sized good vibes in Yorkshire, and there should be no rush - he's still only 20.
Rushworth and Beadle - it's building up to Walton v. Sanchez all over again, isn't it!

OK, it's only Football Insider, but it's definitely adding to the noise that Rushworth won't be going back to Hull once he's fit again.

Not a loanee any more, but congratulations to Christian Walton tonight - clean sheet for Ipswich against Chelsea.

Remember George Cox - the young LB who needed life-saving heart surgery while he was with us that nearly ended his career? We sent him out on loan a couple of times, and he played for a few years for Fortuna Sittard in the Eredivisie after making his loan permanent. He's back in the UK now - scored a 97th. minute penalty winner for Swindon yesterday.

Doesn't Offiah's contract expire in May? ???
He signed a two and a half year deal in January '22, taking him through to June last year. Before he headed off to Blackpool he signed a one year extension, so he could be on what I describe as a 'shop-window' loan (same as I expect Samuels, Peupion and Turns might be going on in January), looking for a free transfer to a decent EFL club, with us just getting that development fee thing (unless somebody comes in with a bid in January.
Of course, we could always offer him a new contract (perhaps we already have for all I know!)
