Thought the kids did ok against obviously physically stronger opposition. Talking to the locals, sounds like they've recruited a few players from the National League so was probably a bit of an eye-opener for some of our lads. Plastic pitch aside, nice club and fans, hope they have a decent season.

Oriola looked very lively when he came on, Nti and Mthunzi also looked decent. Ademola made a stunning tackle in the second half too (he's huge).

@dazzer6666 - do you happen to know our starting XI?

There was commentary provided by Basingstoke which I caught from about 10 minutes into the second half, and the commentator knew our players, but I'm guessing there were lots of changes at half-time.

Afraid not….no team sheet. It was announced though and I can probably work out most of them (with a bit of help 🤣). Must have been 6/7 changes at HT I think, and then rolling subs as the two starting CBs came back on during the second half

In the second half the commentator named:-
Alfie Mansell (GK)
Matthew Hayden (would have been RB)
Seb Ademola and Isaiah Alakiu (presumably CBs)
Theo Outen (LB)
Callum Mackley, Nehemiah Oriola and Younes Ibrahim
Aidan West, Joe Belmont and Adam Brett

He then mentioned Corbin Mthunzi (who is a CB), so presumably he had come back on.

Yep, Mthunzi started, went off at HT and then came back on

Which is far, far easier said than done - half the time with these friendlies one doesn't even exist.
Very true. I'm unfortunately not going to make it now but hopefully @dazzer6666 has good listening and note taking skillz!

Burgess Hill Town took the lead after 14 minutes but Ronnie Gorman on 17 minutes and Adam Brett on 19 minutes have given Albion the lead.

Entertaining game, when the quick passing kicks in it’s a joy.
Will be a lot of changes at the beginning of the second half
