In a pile of football shirts
Going to swerve it, had a stressful couple of weeks, I just don’t think I could cope with another abject disappointment from the Albion, failing to turn over one of the shittest teams in the league.
Non league for me today, football played with joy, full blooded effort from everyone.

I go into every game thinking we're loose, so then anything else is a bonus. But I still mostly enjoy the occasion.

But this next game COULD be season-defining.

And no VAR!

It feels very similar to the last 3 games of the promotion season and the last 8 games of last season.

Just don't think it's likely that the team can overcome the inertia we've seen since the Penalties against Forest.

De Zerbi dragged us through to the Europa league places.

He may have blotted his copy book at the end of last season, but he did an incredible job picking us up after the semi and Everton games, to finish 6th.
Incredible management

Should be good with no happy clappers hopefully just the real fans there, and Potter and Bruno on the sidelines, outside chance of winning, Europe last chance today, I can't see boring in that. Get it on. You have to roll with the punches with our great game and ensure whatever comes our way comes, and if not accept and get the grief out the system and then move on.Thats life aswell.

Some low-level toxicity should add a bit of edge to what otherwise would be a bit of a meh fixture. Neither club's fans are going to best pleased with anything other than a win

I must admit that I'm already telling myself "it's only a game" and to not let today's result ruin the week ahead and affect how miserable I am around friends and family when we don't win.
I know we're not being relegated, I've accepted we're unlikely to grab a European spot, and I know that once this season is over that we have a good platform to build on for next season.
I'm viewing any points we gain from the next five games as a bonus.

I will enjoy my visit today to The Amex.

I will enjoy my visit today to The Amex.

Thank you Tony for all you have done for us, you really do deserve better.
Certainly deserves a lot better than some of the embarrassing crap he heard in the away end last week :nono:

Eexactly this.

Decent chance the atmosphere to this will be Intense (one way or the other).

There was a fair amount of press talk about our negativity last week.
I would imagine it would be a much bigger story should we lose today.

Living abroad, I can only watch on TV when not in the UK. I ended up turning off the TV near the end of the last THREE matches totally deflated and knowing what the outcomes would be. I don't recall doing this once before. As the season lurches to its end, the sooner it's over, the better as it's time for a break and reset. UNLESS of course we stuff the emotionally intelligent history teacher's 'nice' words up his arse and do to his lot what we did to Chel$ea.

Europe still possible.
We are not a terrible team, we are an inconsistent one. Capable of losing several in a row, but then suddenly winning a few. Afterall we have some match-winning players.
