I wonder why Non League clubs give reductions to Brighton season ticket holders...

Would have thought one off reductions on Non League day to people who would go every week a better idea ?
The idea I suppose is to encourage those who wouldn’t normally go. In my case, it’s worked. I’ll try to get along after my supermarket visit! Haven’t been since pre-season.

Edit - though I don’t see this mentioned on their website.

Steyning 1 Margate 3.

Margate way too strong for a poor Steyning side now adrift at the bottom. 210 in attendance

Worthing are going to bottle it , aren't they ?
Too early to say that, and if we don't win the league, it's not like we've ever been top for long enough to call it a bottlejob. While last weekend's result and going four clear at the top was euphoric, there was always going to be a long way to go with more twists and turns no matter who we had left to play. Today was just the reverse of last week - we slipped up while everyone else capitalised on that.

Wasn't there today, but by all accounts I've been told was a poor performance against a Welling side who did a good job of dragging us down to their level - not the first time it's happened this season, especially against a side fighting relegation. We'll dust ourselves off for the game in hand we have on everyone else vs Hornchurch on Tuesday and then push on from there.

The upcoming game against EB could be a bit tasty!

Hassocks
Away trip tomorrow for Hassocks @ Shoreham, which'll be a new ground for me.
Absolute stroll in the park for Hassocks yesterday. Shoreham player had a bit of head loss early on and reduced them down to 10 when they were already 1 down and to be fair they kept it that way until halftime but Hassocks were always going to run away with it second half end ended up 4 nil winners.

A win against Crowborough next week will wrap it up with 5 games to spare although it'll be tough. Even if they lose they'll need 2 wins from 5 games even if Crowborough win every game until the end of the season (which does seem likely at the moment to be fair). It's put me in a predicament though with the Forest game afterwards, currently looking at watching the first half at Hassocks and taking it from there. It's a shame Crowborough wouldn't agree to moving the game forward an hour or two, I think there would have been well over a thousand there if they had but should hopefully still be a decent turnout. On the subject of Crowborough, if anyone just followed them on Twitter you'd get the impression they hadn't been awarded a free kick all season.

Two Nil to the Hill as Burgess Hill cemented their play off credentials in Isthmian South East by winning at Herne Bay. Hopefully will hold on to third. Ramsgate look like finally winning the division and Sittingbourne probably too far ahead in second.

Burgess Hill have been a great watch this year. Club looks to be on an upward trajectory.
