t should look even better than that because the east upper tiers wrap around the corners.

Looking at those plans tho, I wonder if a limited number of additional upper tier seats could be added to the east corners if we ever needed to expand further.

i agree, if you look at the south west corner, that gap behind the corner has a small level of seats installed, i assume these could be added to the east corners if necessary.

Now all we need is Vicente to sign a new contract and it will be perfect

As Shrek doesn't like a long bus ride, from an easterly direction I raise you Longhill High School or whatever it's called nowdays.

Wow! Just need a win on Saturday to complete another great year in being a Brighton & Hove Albion fan!

Has the wait been worthwhile! Yes, but sadness for all those supporters that didn't see the Amex, including my late Father. R.I.P. Dad x

The problem with the east tho is the low level of the roof, but you could certainly squeeze some in I'd have thought if the club were desperate for extra capacity (ie when we qualify for the Champions League :) )

Wasn't there a worry (I can't remember from who) before the stadium was built that we wouldn't fill the business model of an average of 15,000 a game?

Now looking at this sort of expansion within a year. wow.

I hope I've got my facts right. :)

There was some dickwad on the Argus comments page who insisted that the club wouldn't get more than 6,000/7,000. He's been rather quiet recently.

It's 12 miles. That's a hell of a traipse.

My guess - without any evidence - is somewhere in Saltdean.

It's not that bad. A quick check shows the away fans park and ride for St. Marys is that far out (I remember it being pretty far out). I know that's just one example, but doesn't put it beyond the realms of possibility and good for people coming from that direction (away fans particularly).

i mean you see on the south west corner where the level of the stand dips down, there is another 'level' in behind it, the level of the east corners drops down like that, and i would assume that there is exactly the same space in behind that to install that other level of seating if its needed. there definitely isnt enough room for the east upper to wrap round though

whooops only just saw this in notifications

Derby and Watford had the south stand split, in which the extra tickets given to home supporters did not sell out. I think this was the same for Barnsley and Cardiff too (also bristol city but i'm not sure)

Think only Watford and Derby didn't sell out - the others i'm sure did. Also Watford was 90% full. Thing is i think it was Cardiff where the tickets in South Stand only went on sale 2 days before so not many people knew about it and we did well to sell most in 2 days. Pretty much every league game has been sold right out - if you don't include away team givebacks they've all comfortably sold out.

5000 seats this summer - ESU, South West and South East.

500 before December - 1901 SW

2750 before start of 2013-14 season - NW, NE and 1901 NW

Sounds about right...

There's gonna be 1901 in NW corner?

The seaside.
Is Waterhall feasible for a Park & Ride? It's seems to be in the logical location, where routes North and West converge and weren't B&H Buses planning one there at some point?
