I got myself an british airways Amex card, so I will see if I can get in the top bit with all the other super fans

If you get there at 1 and start drinking to 5 and then get over to your seat in the ground, you will be absolutely wankered by the time kick off comes around

Can't find it now, but saw on one of the early timing examples that the Terrace would re-open post-match well in advance of the final whistle. Don't agree with that at all. It appears to reward early leaving
Why on earth would the club do this? I predicted that the early leavers issue would get worse at first with the fan zone as these ‘beer is somehow more important than the team’ saddos actually leave even earlier to queue to get in there. I never thought that the club would actually promote it though.

First fan to be forcibly removed from The Terrace by security is a title still up for grabs.

I wonder how they plan to keep out away fans? Will they be checking everyone's e-tickets? Though even a seat in the home areas doesn't prove they're Albion fans, as we all know.

It wouldn't surprise me if they don't plan to even do that, beyond the games where trouble is more likely and the police put their foot down on such a policy.

We've already had Norwich (and I dare say a few other clubs) fans drinking in the north stand concourse post match. It would be reasonable to hope the tribal nature of the game could just be left at the door afterwards in most cases.

I certainly can’t see my pre match routine changing. Much prefer to drink in town or at the Swan.

Post match will probably vary game by game.

I haven’t seen anything that suggests it’s exclusively for Home fans. Assumed it’s open to all (with possible exceptions for ‘high risk’ games).

The blurb on the club website states it is designed for home fans with matchday tickets and Albion colours are welcome in all areas.

Although it doesn't specifically state no away fans the above would suggest its home fans only.

Appreciate that events have moved on since, and timings were always going to be subject to tweaks earlydoors but here's the original timings when the grand opening was going to be the Villa game. Knew I hadn't imagined it...

At the end of my tether
Regrettably, I am unable to attend matches live these days, due to health and mobility. I must say that this whole high tech , d.j. music bar would not appeal to me at all. I guess it is aimed at a younger clientele I.e. those with money !

Strictly speaking a 90 min game plus 15 for half time that kicked off at 7:45 would finish at 9:30. Obviously they've not accounted for time added on, but I don't think the quoted timings from the club prove your claim of it reopening well in advance of the final whistle.

It will be chaos in there on Saturday, that is inevitable. People are just going to have patience and try not to whinge too much, I am sure any issues will be ironed out for the start of next season.

Should be amazing in there if we get a good result after the match.

Aside from MacDonald's style touch screens wasn't the Albion app meant to include the ability to order? If so I can't see anything.
