if that is the case, how come when I was in the Swan Inn during the last divison 1 season they had a big scoreboard up with a score next 'Albion' being the number of games we had won that season and a score next to 'Falmer' being the number of games we had lost that season?

Well I don't see how a brighton fan can NOT want a stadium in falmer regardless of where he or she lives. Not a very good fan how goes round costing the clubs millions and bad press. A hooligan sector would be easier to control.

I guess sadly their view maybe they do not want their quality of like affected, threat to the value of property etc.

Personally I would love to have lived near the Goldstone, but that is not everyone.

Falmer residents did not call for, or force a Public Inquiry - it was called by Prescott/ODPM due to very nature of the planning application.

No...I'm not from Falmer, but unlike a lot of blinkered folk on this site I can't blame them for objecting !! I'm round the corner from Withdean and would love to see it developed to be a better home for BHA !

I live 5 mins from Withdean as well. Lets knock down the pub (with the owner still in it), destroy the gym that i've several times wasted money joining only to get bored and not go, and build the stadium there. Then burn down the nature reserve and hey presto...I only have to walk 5 minutes to home games...brillient!
