Or more kindly, misguidedly sharing fascinating info he found on the internet? Apparently, this is quite common on NSC and other Mumsnet-style messageboards.

I am sure I am among those you have in mind who share ‘fascinating information’ found on the internet but I do either at least try and put it into quotation marks and credit the website
