Dont really hate anyone. Individually I hate Robben with a passion. Horrible little shit

Its a great shame that because of the qualifications decent teams are not there when crappy African sides are, but that is always going to be the baeuty of the WC.

Next one in South Africa could be fun...Sepp Blatter is quoted as saying he only wants 1 European team per group, which will mean only 6 or 8 European teams and many more African teams in there.

Deep joy

Blimey Dave, you're getting a bit miserable in your old age.

Personally, I'd like to see a few more African teams in it if they play like Ivory Coast did the other night. Angola didn't give a bad account of themselves either.

Id have been happy to swap Senegal or Nigeria for Poland or Serbia in this WC.

Perhaps, but I appear to be in a minority of 1 who believe that Angola were dreadful last night and we could still be playing the Portugal game now and they wouldn't have scored.

I thought Serbia looked quite good in patches actually, Poland did look out of sorts and I am not 100% convinced we would beat the Equador side - lets hope its Germany in the next round.

When you think that we rae missing teams like Denmark , Russia, Uraguay ( twice former winners) and we have Saudia Arabia and Iran in the competition, I think personally it debases it a bit. But heigh ho, we are all entitled to our own opinions.

I deteste that arrogant little shite that is Christiano Ronaldo

:clap2: I was bitterly dissapointed when he got substituted as I wanted him to get sent of, whilst being stretchered off with multiple fractures to both legs, and also having given away the penalty that gave Angola a deserved point from the game

oh well, hopefully he wears thin boots and somebody very heavy indeed stamps on his foot, thereby rendering all metatarsi (sp?) mere crumbs

Or instead of another African country FIFA do the sensible thing and let a country from Australia's old group do direct to the world cup?

You mean Fegie will have a go at trying to manage the affairs of the Portugal team as well?

I'm with you, there are a few good sides in Africa, the same as South America but the majority of the nations are Shit, the standard is higher in Europe and by reducing the number of European entrants surely the only effect will be a lower standard of tournement.

Oh and the team I hate most in this world cup is Ecuador.

For me it's Argentina for obvious reasons, but other than that the USA, and Serbia & Montenegro for their dire defensive style.

I disagree with that, dont think Ecuador are much cop. They qualified because of their altitude advantage at home. They did well to beat Poland, but I really cant see them causing England any problems, Paraguay are a better team in my eyes.

To be fair though, they arent the only team that dive, and I would argue the Argies and possibly even Spain are worse.

How do the fans seem arrogant about it all?

Or England. Owen is a serial diver and Gerrard seems to be learning well.

I really don't think we should be criticising other teams for diving.

(on the original topic, pleased to see USA get well stuffed).

Brazil, cocky bastards.

They strut around like they're World Champions or something.

Really gets my goat.
