Thanks for that. He looked decent in a couple of Blackburn games I watched so I do hope he does get more football this coming season.

Re: wrong club choice, I suppose he can look at Gyokeres as a bit of a role model now though and think he's doing the right thing.
Yes I watched a Blackburn game on TV last season (Newcastle in the Cup ?) and thought he looked good. Hopefully he will push on.

Rated Ayari's performances in pre-season and his cameo at Everton, hope he sticks around instead of going out on loan but expect he won't given all the incomings.

Notable that despite coming on in the 89th minute Ayari accumulated an xG of 0.43, second only to Mitoma (0.97, 89 minutes played) and ahead of Welbeck (0.20, 90 minutes of normal time played).

I like Ayari and think he should be given a chance this season. He's looked sharp in pre-season and was decent when he came on at the weekend.

And that won't include the disallowed goal. I don't actually remember his other chance though

I think Ayari has earned a start against Crawley, which I think is his audition for a decent loan.

With the arrival of O'Reilly and the performance of Baleba today, and Hinsh likely to be displaced from full back, I think Yasin just has too much competition for a midfield spot.

Champo doesn't seem to suit him, let's send him to Germany or Italy or France, see how he gets on in a top league

He's looking promising but he has to go on loan otherwise he'll spend 80% of the season sitting on his butt learning nothing. Have a good year away and be ready to step onto the Premier league conveyor belt next season.

Surely we're running out of international loan spots at this point??! (Already have Barco, Sima, Osman and Scherpen on loan in Europe).

Mein gott he sounded so bored in his post match interview with BBC radio Sussex, prefacing several answers to the usual inane questions with 'As I said in the (post match) interviews I've just done...'

Fair play to the lad.

Lots to improve on, as to be expected for his age. Killed multiple attacks with a wrong pass but given context he showed some promise.

Should have scored though

I like him a lot. I noticed he was the sensible one during the Man Utd goal celebration. He stopped other players joining in the bundle, then sorted out Dunks cramp! Mature head.
