There were two or three incidents involving the west stand lino where he didn't, leading to Dunky berating him and the ref at one point, with a lengthy discussion then had, as could easily have led to an injury for Verbruggen as the ball was loose and a scramble in the box.
That lino also managed to miss the ball going out of play as he was too busy messing around with one of the spare balls that wasn't on the stand and wasn't watching play despite it being about 10 yards from him and the action taking place very close to the touchline. (he held his hand up a few times after as if to apologise and admit to his error for failing to follow the play)

He also didn't flag a clear offside which was the incident referred to above which then resulted in that scramble in the box. There was no reason why it shouldn't have been flagged immediately otherwise, i thought all 3 officials did a very good job.

A small thing …. loved it when he made WHU take their throw-ins from the correct spots, after they repeatedly tried to cheat with an extra 15 yards.
And then allowed nearly every throw to be a foul throw. One the Forest player nearly back flipped his own head.

I have not seen the Adingra disallowed goal anywhere, but I am guessing VAR got that one right ?
I'd forgotten all about that! Welbeck may have been interfering and Weiffer was offside on the initial shot and he was first to the rebound. So - probably twice offside.

This is said reasonably often by supporters of the winning side, but almost never by supporters of the losing side
Whilst I agree and this is generally true of football supporters, I make it a point to not go in for this. Sometimes at games a ref will not give us a foul for a dive and everyone around me will be up in arms, a couple of these and suddenly the ref is having a bad game.

I thought he had an excellent game win, lose or draw - I appreciated his game management. He was in control when either side took the piss with things like throw ins, but wasn’t bothered about a few yards. Same with free kicks. Positioning was good throughout.

Had a very good game, and if we’d have lost 2-1 I’d be saying the same.

You'll struggle to surpass @Eeyore on this front
Agree with @Guinness Boy though. He let a lot go, which helped the game to flow. I liked how he got players to take the throw from the right place and did it quickly.
I was extremely DISAPPOINTED that there was no ref thread. Can you imagine how I felt when they won all those consecutive matches ?
