If he's the bloke I think he is - Leon emailed him by mistake when he meant to email me. We're both called Darren, GMail did the rest when he started typing.
This other Darren was amongst Leon's GMail addresses having emailed him the following:
...having, presumably, picked up Leon's email...
I told Leon I would not publicise it if he didn't want me to, but I am satisfied it's him. Believe me if you want or choose not to. I care not a jot.
(Leon did send it to the wrong Darren by mistake initially so there is a chance it will surface elsewhere)
Moldova or Greece or Russia or somewhere, yes.
The proof I have of him includes another current footballer who is currently plying his trade in Hungary (but has played for Spurs, Wolves, QPR and others).
I'm happy to share my rationale...
Amongst yesterday's 2 new NSC registrations were one purporting to be Leon Knight and one purporting to be Colin Kazim Richards. That's quite a coincidence on the same day, within the same hour in fact. Both registrations were from very generic email addresses...
I noticed that which is why, coupled with some NSC jiggery pokery, I think it might just be him.
Although his geography might be a tad out - it's Eastern Europe.
(Or this is quite an elaborate hoax - we'll see and I'll report back)
