They should show this programme to someone from another country and say "this is the UK big brother"Yep, this floored me.
I’ve loved the first four episodes, genuine loud out loud at times. I could never get tired of Bob Mortimer either.
I've only seen a couple of clips online, but I have NO idea how no one broke when the miniature explosion happened during the RNLI speech - the most intentionally boring speech of all time. And also during Bob's song AND encore song where he is chasing Daisy around with his laptop.Joe Wilkinsons RNLI speech had me in serious trouble. Really good show.
I thought that at first, a rocky start! I persevered, and it gets better. Especially Joe Wilkinson on the RNLI!I just watched the first 15 minutes of episode 1 and it's utter, utter shite.
DMC is not just an actress. She co-wrote 'This Country' with her brother. Sara Pascoe is too much of an empath to last very long in this. She was always going to laugh because she felt that was what the person she was interacting with wanted of her. Her and Roshin Conaghty's subsequent cheerleading and laughing picked up the atmosphere of the show making things more welcoming and less artificial. As the TV room filled up, it had a bit of the feeling of Paul Provenza's 'The Green Room' where you saw how comedians spoke to and about their peers/friends when not doing material. It helps that quite a few of these obviously know each other very well. There seems to be a fairly unspoken understanding between quite a few of them about how genuinely mad Lou Sanders is in her real life, but how affectionate they are all about her. There are some laugh out loud moments but not as many as I would have hoped for (or expected from the previews). I don't find Sara Pascoe very funny and DM Copper is an actress not a stand up, however I like most of the rest so this helps. 6.5/10.
You should have entered. You'd 'of' won itI just watched the first 15 minutes of episode 1 and it's utter, utter shite.
Not sure about that, but it is bloody brilliant telly. Can't wait for the next episodes...Has anyone watched this on Prime?
It’s genius and the comedians on the show are easily the best of British currently.
Must must watch. Cried with laughter throughout.
I agree. Right up there with my kind of comedy! The funniest thing I have watched on TV for a long time !
As discussed on the main thread, a matter of opinion, obviously. I gave it a good go but found it not funny enough, with some annoying characters.Has anyone watched this on Prime?
