Yep, this floored me.

I’ve loved the first four episodes, genuine loud out loud at times. I could never get tired of Bob Mortimer either.
They should show this programme to someone from another country and say "this is the UK big brother"

They'd be thinking "why do they all stand up and walk away pulling a weird face when that man called Bob comes over to talk to them. Are they bullying him?"

Joe Wilkinson's RNLI speech, and Bob Mortimer's "Magic Show" had me crying.....the rest, not so much.
Very funny in parts, but pretty "meh" in others. We watched the first 4 episodes back to back, and the laughs progressively got less and less.
It probably doesn't help that I really dont like Daisy May Cooper, or Judi Love. Loves dog show has to be the low point of the series - just completely unfunny and utter tripe. How she has become a regular on TV baffles me.

The worst part for me was the contestants who have eliminated and watching on. It's their forced laughing at things that a clearly not funny just in an attempt to try and stop their contemporaries from dying on national TV.

Joe Wilkinsons RNLI speech had me in serious trouble. Really good show.
I've only seen a couple of clips online, but I have NO idea how no one broke when the miniature explosion happened during the RNLI speech - the most intentionally boring speech of all time. And also during Bob's song AND encore song where he is chasing Daisy around with his laptop.

I just watched the first 15 minutes of episode 1 and it's utter, utter shite.
I thought that at first, a rocky start! I persevered, and it gets better. Especially Joe Wilkinson on the RNLI!

There are some laugh out loud moments but not as many as I would have hoped for (or expected from the previews). I don't find Sara Pascoe very funny and DM Copper is an actress not a stand up, however I like most of the rest so this helps. 6.5/10.

DMC is not just an actress. She co-wrote 'This Country' with her brother. Sara Pascoe is too much of an empath to last very long in this. She was always going to laugh because she felt that was what the person she was interacting with wanted of her. Her and Roshin Conaghty's subsequent cheerleading and laughing picked up the atmosphere of the show making things more welcoming and less artificial. As the TV room filled up, it had a bit of the feeling of Paul Provenza's 'The Green Room' where you saw how comedians spoke to and about their peers/friends when not doing material. It helps that quite a few of these obviously know each other very well. There seems to be a fairly unspoken understanding between quite a few of them about how genuinely mad Lou Sanders is in her real life, but how affectionate they are all about her.

I also don't understand the negativity about Judi Love. She was a great Taskmaster contestant and has the face of a natural comedian: Brilliant at saying everything whilst saying nothing. Rob Beckett has also been really sharp in this. The format does mean that the big laughs come sporadically, but this has seemed far less artificial than it did in the Irish version. The mix has been really good. Nobody seems too try hard. Chuck in that you have Mortimer and Wilkinson sprinkling their magic and it's so far been a thoroughly enjoyable watch. The only problem I have had is the occasional misty eyed moment at the absence of Sean Lock. He'd have walked it.

Has anyone watched this on Prime?

It’s genius and the comedians on the show are easily the best of British currently.

Must must watch. Cried with laughter throughout.
Not sure about that, but it is bloody brilliant telly. Can't wait for the next episodes...

As discussed on the main thread, a matter of opinion, obviously. I gave it a good go but found it not funny enough, with some annoying characters.
