Anyone know if the roadworks will still be there on Wednesday for the Villa match as the delays are really bad today
They weren’t meant to be there after 8am this morning, inevitably clever Trevor the Clown Mutton will be hitting the Highways Agency with an 80 pound fine…Anyone know if the roadworks will still be there on Wednesday for the Villa match as the delays are really bad today

Bad enough trying to get through at 7am this morning.I believe it’s 1 lane during the day and then overnight is closed. Would love that to not be true but that’s how I’ve understood the following from national highways
“For safely, we’ll need to have day and nighttime lane closures, with speed restrictions and overnight closures of the A27.”
Same. I went through at 6:30am this morning and it was very very slow and my first thought was Wednesday is going to be carnage. I booked the bus with seagulls travel as it’s more convenient for midweek games but might get the train out and then bus back.Bad enough trying to get through at 7am this morning.
If there's still lane restrictions on Wednesday night it'll be a nightmare. I came onto the A27 at dyke road roundabout 9.45 this morning heading East and took the Patcham turn off to go back up to dyke road roundabout and home 30 mins later
Feel really sorry for anyone who had to be anywhere.
Train it is tomorrow evening then. I tend to avoid the trains during evening games as it's always a shitshow. However, Southern Rail looks like it could be the lesser of two evils tomorrow (never thought I'd say that).
not if you set off at Noon xTomorrow night - journey from Worthing to Sussex Uni parking - is going to be horrific, isn't it?
Brilliant, now Carden Avenue is blockedI live in westdene, managed to cut 30 mins off my journey this morning by going carden avenue, coldean lane and joining the 27 by the Amex, definitely my new route until it's back to normal.
