There is something there, but it's fair to make the comment he's not performed for a long time

Neither of our wingers attacked their defenders, if we stopped playing left footers on the right , and right footers on the left they might be more willing to try and get past their defenders
I agree with this.

Sometimes I think we don't do it because of some managerial group think which is going on.

Back to basics, get the wingers beating their man, getting to the by line and putting it across the face. How much more proof do we need that we're not good enough to score by continually turning back and recycling?

He has some qualities. On average he scores every fifth shot or so which is, by Brighton standards, Lewandowski class. He finds and creates opportunities.

Unfortunately he is way too inconsistent both between games and in games to frequently start for a team with our ambitions. Would be a marvelous signing for some team new-promoted team or something but I don't see him reaching our required level.

This was highlighted when Solly ended up on the left and put in 2 good crosses from near the goal line in the short time he was over there

Couldn't agree more.

The inverted wingers is normally played because it gives them a decent chance of cutting and and scoring. Without Mitoma in the team, we have no chance of doing this.

We're better off doing what Solly did, get an early dangerous ball in. Or run at the defender, maybe get a pen, or a corner.

Recycling continually against a low block with the benefit of all the evidence we've seen this season is inexplicable to me. It's just FH going with the trend, use your bloody brain man.

He missed chance after chance, did okay in the first half.
Thought he was terrible in the second half….

I would much prefer Solly.
If he's creating & missing chances he better than gruda & no worse then the rest. He produced last season when mitoma was injured - until we ran him into the ground.

I'm yet to be convinced that solly can recreate the form he had before he was injured

Can’t defend as well as Gruda or Solly.
Other than Liverpool away (remembering Mitoma was injured vs Sheff Utd), my recollection is that Adingra was poor like a number towards the end of the season, and produced next to nothing.

Will never have another premier league game where he’s given so much time and space. Did nothing impactful with it - audible groans from WSU with every dead end and misplaced pass. Time to move him on.

He Scored 6 goals in the 23-24 season. More than solly has in every season he's played in apart from 1 (where solly scored 7. Solly normally gets 0, 1 or 2 goals a season, which adingra has matched (scoring 2) despite playing mostly as a sub). & that's better than o'riley & gruda have done

Mate he's played about 120 minutes since he's back? Looks levels above some of our other attacking players despite not having played for a year...

I haven't seen that yet. 2 crosses don't make a recovered player

Scored against Norwich with a fantastic finish? Assisted Welbeck against Newcastle? Was brilliant when he came on against United?

My god. He's played a total of 150 minutes this season. A goal and an assist is something is it not?
Fair enough. I look forward to seeing it (& more)

Solly scored 7 in 22 23 (I think).

I don’t particularly rate O’Riley either, so not a good example, and I would suggest Gruda probably has a higher ceiling, but has had perhaps fewer opportunities than Adingra.

You obviously like him, but I think he’ll be gone in the summer.

Between this season and last season he has had 70 shots and scored 8 goals.

I'm no mathematician but...
