Now I've had a chance to look at the second goal, the header is from inside the 6 yard box.

Shouldn't he be off his line claiming that?
Thought he should have taken it in real time. Found him infuriating today, far too slow to get the ball moving and poor passing when he did.

Got unlucky.

He was moving towards the middle to cover the ball across when the ball deflected off Dunk then made himself big for the rebound shot.

Unfortunately bounced off his thigh onto his arm and in. Those kind of chances are more about luck at that point rather than goalkeeping ability.

I think most PL keepers would be disappointed to concede that one.

He looks to me as a player that is too comfortable /no current competition. Since Steele's injury his levels seem to have dropped (awaits statistical evidence that im talking codswallop)

Kicking the ball against his own defender yesterday and the seemingly panic in his demeanour whenever he gets the ball and we are chasing a game permeate throughout the whole team

Should've done better with the 1st goal and simply had a brainstorm towards the end of the game with some laughable misplaced kicking. If Utd think they are getting an upgrade on Onana they might be disappointed.
I would be inclined to give Rushworth game time towards the end of the season as Europe is now over

I don't dislike Bart but have never really seen what some of the fuss was about when he came in. My gran could probably save more penalties than him and he certainly seems to have dropped off in confidence in recent weeks.

I know it's unlikely but if we got a decent offer for him this summer I wouldn't be upset to see him go. Personally I think Kelleher at Liverpool would be a better option but that's simply my opinion.

Not a fan. Overrated and cannot remember him having a blinder (and boy has he had the chance to be a hero in numerous games) like so many other keepers frequently seem to do against us. But that’s another story.

I’ll drive him there, Rushworth next game please.
Hope he gets to play a game or two before the season is over when/if it gets confirmed we have nothing really to play for.
But if we bench him now we put ourselves in a complicated situation of potentially trying to sell a goalkeeper who we benched due to bad performances. If there are big clubs out there with illusions that they need him, we need not to break the illusion.

Needs to change position in that case, most top or even near top clubs have a very clear number one goalkeeper. If he needs "competition" in order to perform, he should become a winger or something.

A very fair point. But even a deputy you could on balance risk would be an option. Since being in the Premier we've generally had ryan and button, ryan and kruhl, ryan and sanchez, sanchez and steele, steele and Bart

What was that all about at 2-2 when he appeared to shit himself and twatted a goal kick at Pervis? I think it was Pervis anyway. Then proceeded to dance on the ball and refuse to release it. I gather he has been told to do that but it's bloody frustrating.

Should've done better with the first, should've been alert to the danger on the second, though Dunk did screw him on both.

He has really regressed in recent months, whether it's down to his head being turned or something else is anyone's guess. Not the only player in our squad to be on a noticeable downward curve... Rushworth needs a go, we have nothing to lose.

Onana dropped from the Man Utd squad today, so definitely seems his days are numbered up there

Agree but, we are a premier league club competing for a place in Europe. I don’t want an illusion so we make profit on a player if he is making mistakes costing us games. I do think he made some very decent saves throughout the game later on, however the what seems to be howler every other game, it’s not good.

I get the impression that if Rushworth was that highly rated internally then he’d have been given a chance already. After all, he wasn’t Hull’s first choice keeper, then got injured, then came back and played one or two games for them before his recall. Rushworth barely got any minutes on the Japan trip either.
