Leeds discover that they can defend, whilst Sheffield U blow it at home.

That's Leeds pretty much up, with Sheff U & Burnley having to play each other.
Well no, not really. I mean everyone said that when they went 5 points clear 3 weeks ago. They then won one game in 5 and found themselves in 3rd again.

Everything about the Burnley experience is horrible. Leeds on the other hand is a great away day.
So is Sheffield. Burnley is just a dreary place to visit.

Anyway I reckon Sheff Utd will miss out, simply because they're the ones I'd most like to be promoted.

I hope they win it, I have an e/w Trixie I asked someone to pop on for me at the start of the season, Leeds, Birmingham, and Doncaster.
2+k back if they all win their leagues and about 500 if they all get top three.

Good luck there. I had no idea Donny were as high up as they are, and I guess Walsall's form falling off a cliff has meant they've got as good a chance of winning it as 3 or 4 other clubs.

Burnley are 3 games from creating history. No team has ever gone a whole season without conceding more than 1 goal in any league game (the current record is 2 goals which has been achieved by 39 different teams, most recently Watford and Salford in the 20-21 season).

Great result for Pompey.

So tight at the bottom, no one cast adrift, at least 8 clubs in the mix.
Yes they looked like they were slipping back into trouble again but I think they are safe now , unfortunately.

Still Southampton v Portsmouth next season might be entertaining.
