Buonanotte, for me anyway, was too lightweight and just didn't create enough. He hasn't exactly been a regular starter at Leicester either.

All about opinions of course!
I’d put him in instead of O’Riley tomorrow.

Why are people so certain Enciso is on his way? Has there been a big falling out that’s not been made public yet?

2115 minutes. He also has 7 assists, so that's a goal involvement every 176.25 minutes. Playing full 90s that's a goal or assist every other game. I'm stretching the point, but the reality is he's 21. He's missed virtually a whole season recovering from injury. They may not start him regularly right away, but I'm not sure any of the top ten would turn down a youngster with his potential. When Viktor Gyokeres was Encisco's age we'd sent him on loan to play for St Pauli in Bundesliga 2.
Interesting. Excluding pens He probably has better stats than Pedro.

Pretty much.

He or his entourage expected him to play all the time under FH. FH didn’t rate him.

When RDZ left he had already bailed at signing a new deal and with FH reluctance to play him (yes yes he returned injured etc) he remained unsatisfied at being a bench cameo player and wanted/wants out.

Whether he rated him or not (not seen anything reliable suggesting he doesn’t) he doesn’t start ahead of a fit Rutter

He has just over a year left on his contract and won't sign another. Man Utd away he did everything except hold up a "See you later lads, I'm off sign" at the end of the game.

There was also an interview where he was saying he wants to play every week and by omission he was intimating he won't get that here.

Lastly, my youngest has an Enciso top which can go in the cupboard with the Ansu Fati and Pascal Gross ones.

You can’t do that to Pascal, he deserves a far better cupboard.

I said I was reaching a bit because Enciso has played on average about 40 minutes per game in his 53 appearances. Once he is playing 90 minutes a game, his stats almost certainly won't equate to the current 90 minute average. However, it's clear that his game time has been managed, as we have done with most out our young players, particularly when returning from injury. He went to Ipswich, turning down Man Utd because he wants to be starting games and his frustration at not being able to do that here is what seems to have caused him to blab to the media at home. I'm not sure he'll want to fight for his place next season and will probably be sold on or loaned to someone who will start him regularly.

Expensive, and short lived, mistakes those first two, bought by dad presumably!

The third one was a good choice by Iggle Piggle minor though.
Both the Enciso and Fati have had an airing already today. The Enciso one down the gym and he's wearing the Fati one for the day (it's the Euro shirt from last year)

The Gross one didn't make the suitcase!

It’s certainly going to be a big summer for our young players, out of the 2, Facundo has a higher ceiling and seems more grounded, if Ensicos ego cant accept he needs to fight for a place, sell him
Frankly, even if it can, unless he signs a new contract he’s off

Complete opposite for me. Buenonotte did not look (that) out of place playing in central midfield in the Premier League at 18 years old. He looked better than MacAllister did in our team when 3 years younger. He is going to be an absolutely top class player. Enciso, not so much. Awful decision making and a bit of an attitude problem, despite an amazing talent. Expect he'll go to a second rate Spanish team in the Summer.
Agree with all this.
Buonanotte has a very high ceiling. Just needs some more regular PL games and to get a bit stronger. Eye for a goal too (which is sorely lacking at the mo).

Enciso is treated like some demi-God figure back home, (like a Paraguayan Maradona), which hardly helps his already well formed ego. I like him though and would rather see him return and succeed here, but you may right in the second-rate Spanish team prediction. RdZ and probably FH both deem him quite hard work to manage.

Just seen the penalty conceded by Julio. Why the actual f*** are VAR getting involved again in another subjective decision? It is not a clear and obvious error. And again the one on Dunk last week was 10 times the penalty that was. I honestly think they've gone mad - the one remit they have is to not re-referee the games and that's exactly what they are doing. Morons.

If players as talented as Enciso, Buonanotte and Ferguson all fall by the wayside, I think it'd be fair to say something's gone badly wrong.

Big time.

There's clearly a consistent goal scorer in Fergie somewhere and imo Enciso is one of the most exciting players we've had in ages, with a massive ceiling.

My expectation is for Pedro to be sold in the summer and Enciso and Buonenotte to be given an opportunity in pre-season to challenge for a squad place.
Hopefully both will return with a determined attitude to become starters without sulking if not chosen to begin the game.

Enciso & Ferguson are not staying if fab is our manager.

Expecting enciso (30m), Ferguson loan to champ, adingra (20m) to be our exits, with facundo and tzimas taking their places.

Facundo hopefully will show us what he's got. Not entirely convinced he's a FH player though.
Pretty sure Julio will be off. He's only got a year (plus one?) on his contract and wants more minutes than we can give him.
Some fans would rather he starts ahead of Georginio. I think they're barking.
